Midlothian, VA asked in Personal Injury for Virginia

Q: I am at a recycling center and unloading my cardboard, another truck with a trailer pulls up on my right side and starts

throwing huge pieces of cardboard in front of my truck not only blocking me in, but baracading me in. When I approached

this individual and asked him politely to throw it in another directions he got very arrogant and indignant with me.

So I went to report it to the administration. What happened I got banned from the property for reporting the incident,

and was told that I was a problem and not allowed back. Nothing was done to the other party.....isn't there some

legal action that can be taken? If so against which party, and why would I as the "victim" be banned? Thank you,

A: It sounds like a silly dispute that resulted in you getting banned. There is nothing legally you can do about this. If you were banned from the facility, I bet you played more of a role in the problem than you're admitting. Find a new recycling facility.
