Q: What the Statute of limitations for suspended license tickets dating back 12 years?
Got a letter from a lawyers office on behalf of Will county says I owe over $800 and this took place in 2004.
A: Are you referring to Will County, IL? If so, try reposting this question in the Illinois section of Justia because Colorado's driver's laws (and statute of limitations) have not application for matters occurring outside of the state. From a google search, it appears the IL does not have a statue of limitations on traffic/parking offenses--but you should contact a lawyer in IL who actually knows the local law. Best of luck.
