Asked in Divorce for Tennessee

Q: Will it still take 60 days to divorce if we have been separated for 2 years?

We have been separated for a little over 2 years and we are filing for divorce. He is paying for divorce, or I should say his mother is paying for divorce. It is uncontested on both parties, no assets on either side, no real property, his debts are his and mine are mine. We have no children. Filing ourselves, no attorneys. We were married in Knox County but I live in another TN county now.

A: I recommend that you hire an attorney to handle the divorce and answer your questions.
