Sebring, FL asked in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice for Florida

Q: I suffered a brain stroke on March 25th of 2016

I was seen by whom I had believed to be a Dr.(turned out he was a PA). I had believed that I might have had a rotator cuff injury . Upon seeing the PA I was injected with either prednisone or hydrocortisone and was then sent to their neighboring

clinic for physical therapy. The PA had submitted a request for a CT scan but in the interim I was to go to physical therapy.

At my fourth PT appointment I was placed in traction..Upon awaking the next morning i had nouse in my rt.arm and my rt/hand had curled. My wife and I went to the Physical Therapist and upon seeing my distress stated I need to go to the doctor..We went next door and the PA said for us to go to emergency..That day ,March 25th it was discovered that I had suffered multiple brain strokes..I wish to also point out that my wife had asked ( at our first encounter with the PA ) if this

could possibly be a brain stroke and the idea was dismissed
