Q: if my dog gets ran over when he is in my control ( on a leash) is the driver liable for vet bills or only replacement?

The dog survived and the driver was making an illegal turn. the bill is approximately $10000.

A: Wasn't under such control that he couldn't be run over. Depends on the facts --if other driver cited, certainly approach his company for payment of bills and consider a small claims case.
