Q: A pipe in my apt broke & flooded my apt. Who is responsible for where we stay while it gets fixed & damages caused by it
A pipe upstairs in my bathroom exploded at 1 am and water leaked down stairs to my kitchen. Maintenance took an hour to get there. they said they will have to open up our floor upstairs since it leaked. Our tv got wet and is damaged. Is renters insurance liable for where we sleep at or is our apartment? And who pays for the damages?
