Q: The neighborhood kids keep harassing and teasing my dog. Can I do anything legally about it?
A: While civil lawsuits (e.g. enjoining the children harassing your dog) are a possibility, they are expensive and may not work. Have you tried calling the police or animal control? Either way you need to start collecting evidence. Seriously consider installing a video camera and taping the children (a simple system is $100-$300 at Walmart or Amazon). In my experience video cameras tend to stop a lot of problems (if it doesn't, you have irrefutable evidence for the police and/or courts).
