Q: My dog was poisoned with anti freeze she died.
it was put in the tall grass in back of yard. the police only spoke to one neighbor and I want them to speak to 5 more and they keep saying they are to busy. They were not going to do anything due to lack of evidence until I pushed it . If they would speak to more neighbor's maybe someone saw something or knows of who did it. What legal rights does my dog have. Please help
A: Unfortunately, there is little you can do here but occasionally check in with the police or investigate the matter yourself (which may not be a safe course of action). The police have limited resources and plenty of crimes to investigate. Therefore, they also have the right to decide how best to allocate their resources.
