A: First step would be get a consultation with a member of the Tennesee Assn for Justice. They give free consultations. You note "medical malpractice." If this is that type of case, you do not want to do it yourself--they are extremely expensive, very very complicated, and you can end up spending a huge amount of money and time and not get anywhere. Consult before you file!
