Warsaw, IN asked in Divorce for Indiana

Q: I need answers - my husband left and I need answers before I end up homeless

My husband left me months ago - at first he paid some of the bills - every month I paid more and more of the bills until he was paying only the house pmt ( the home is under a chapter 13) now he has decided to not pay any on the house He is recently retired and has his social security and union pension. I can possibly manage to cover the bills if I take in a renter. He has come to the house while I am at work and I need to know if I can tell him to stay OUT of the house and if I can tell him to take the rest of his clothes and personal items. I need answers

A: Unless and until you file a petition for dissolution of marriage or some other court pleading, your marital problems are your own. Go see a family lawyer who practices in Kosciusko County.
