A: Possibly but you need to consult with a lawyer ASAP as there are time limits on injury cases.

A: the damage for loss of income may be claimed and sought as part of the damages in a number of ways. I suggest you obtain an attorney to assist in the case especially when negotiating any settlement. However it's not clear of the settlement you you seek is related to insurance for a business or a commercial enterprise or An individual. In a personal injury case if there is a need for attendant care or such homecare then that would be part of the damage to seek in the case either though settlement negotiating or jury

A: I assume he has an attorney. Ask the attorney. Different states have different rules as to how care provided by relatives is--or is not--compensated. If he doesn't he needs to get with a member of the Florida Justice Assn--they give free consults.

A: It depends on the details. I would consult a lawyer to review your case in detail.
