Q: Are there any scenarios in which a medical provider lien on a personal injury or WC case must be renewed monthly?
An RCM company shared that medical provider liens, in some instances, must renewed on a monthly basis.
A: Updated, perhaps, but generally I'm not aware of provider liens. If you mean the lien of the workers compensaion carrier, that exists without renewal.Likewise Medicare & Medical Assistance liens, which are automatic.
