Q: Car title; sold by seller to buyer and not filed at clerk's office yet in Kentucky 60days now I have a copy of title.&
Sold a car in Kentucky where i live to another resident of kentucky , title filled out by a Notery plus made out a bill of Sale all signed and Notery gave me copys. The Buyer has not had title changed at clerk's office. 2 month's have passed. Am I at risk or will my proof of sales suffice if they are in volved in accident? What else can I do or not. Can't locate the buyer. Thanks concerned
A: You should be OK, but talk to your insurance company to be sure.
