Q: Can I be held libel for an accident by my daughter if car is titled to her but she is on my insurance policy.
She is 28, single, has good driving record and does not live at home. I'm trying to determine if I am putting myself at risk by leaving car on my policy or if it would be best for me to have her get her own. However by being on my multi car policy, it is considerably less expensive for her than having her own policy.
A: Talk to your agent as to whether she can be on your policy if she owns the car. If you are not the owner of the vehicle I don't see why you would be liable.
