Q: I was incarcerated for whole three months waiting on a judge decision on a suppressing hearing. can I be compensated
I was acquitted of all charger. I don't find it right for a judge to take up to three months to inform me of he decision. when by law don't he have up to 30 days to make a decision on a MOTION TO SUPPERSS THE EVIDENCE
Is there a way to compensated for the loss of my life and well-being. also, to mention the loss of wages.
A: You don't have a claim against the judge or DA, because they have what is called "immunity." However you can call the Pa. Civil Liberties Union and ask for the names of some of their "cooperating attorneys " to see what they think.
