Beaverton, OR asked in Landlord - Tenant for Oregon

Q: Where can I locate an Attorney that does Legal Aid, can represent me with no fee or help me prevent eviction very soon?

Obviously I have no money to pay legal fees. My landlord is filing for eviction (I think at Hillsboro Courthouse) Thursday or Friday this week. i think I have a strong case to at least delay the actual Sheriff visit to vacate.

My landlord has worked with me many times when i was late on rent for the 15 years i have been living here and he always worked with me.

I am disabled, recovering from a painful foot surgery, and unable to physically remove all of my tons of personal belongings here.

I cannot afford anything - Storage for all of this stuff, an Attorney and My car just broke down and i cannot afford to repair it so that I could drive to the courthouse to attend a hearing..

I have many opportunities working to supplement my income so that I will not be late on my rent again.

My current one year lease expires the end of January 2017. The landlord said he is going to increase the rent if we do new leas
