Q: got hit after turning left on stop sign car coming on right lane was good distance away that's why i turned. whos fault

the car what looked like to me didn't attempt to slow down nor brake as they were coming closer and i was attempting to turn left

A: No harm in contacting a member of the Ga.Trial Lawyers Assn--they give free consults. However generally the person controlled by the stop sign is at fault. If you read most stop sign laws it's clear the judgment of if it's safe to pull out is on you.

Depends on where the cars hit though--if he hits you in the rear, that suggests you were "in position" and he was "charging".'
