Q: I received a ticket for passing prematurely before a passing zone. Is there a driving class I can take to get it dropped

A: It would likely be easier to hire an attorney rather than jerk around attending driving classes. However, a safe driving school may be an option but you will want to work that deal out with an ADA first - every district sets their own policies, some allow driving school others don't and some only allow certain driving schools. so you don't want to jump the gun like you did when you improperly passed and go to a driving school without talking to an ADA first or you could waste your time and money. If the address on your ticket is correct you will (if you haven't already) likely receive a crap ton of letters from traffic attorneys. You don't need F. Lee Bailey for a traffic ticket so just roll with the least expensive on and get this reduced to a non- moving violation or some other similar reduction. It will likely be less than attending driving school and definitely less hassle.
