Q: Could I file s law suit on a prescription drug company for my son being born with a birth defect?

Can I file a law suit on a prescription drug company ? From a medication that caused a birth defect?
It happened in 2007 , I was young& 17 I had a kidney infection the dr says he and prescribed me antibiotics! I later Then find out I was pregnant! Turns out my son was born with cleft lip & cleft palate! It doesn't run in neither of our families, I've done some research now that I'm much older and it clicked in my mind what could have gone wrong and I looked up antibiotics used to treat kidney infections and they can cause birth defects such as cleft lip & palate!
Could I still file a law suit against the company for this? For all that my son has to go through in life surgeries & pain ?
A: Certainly worth investigating. Call me and I'll see if I can get the name of someone who handles those specific types of cases in Georgia.
