A Georgia attorney could answer best, but your post remains open for two weeks. From the description here, it isn't fully clear how the zolpiden tartrate and aspirin got mixed up. I'm glad your boyfriend is okay and nothing serious came of the mix-up. You could reach out to a Georgia... Read more »

I'm sorry to hear about your car. If you were injured while working, then you have a workers' compensation claim. If the injury was serious, you should speak with a lawyer to bring your claim immediately. If you were not working, but you were seriously injured, then you will need a... Read more »

Q: I had all my water lines replaced about 10 months ago. I had a leak that ruined my floor. Am I liable or is the company

They replaced my pipes about 10 months ago and said they couldn't get to one area, so they just tied into the existing pipe. I discovered a leak about a week ago and they came to fix the problem yesterday. The fitting from where they connected to the old pipe burst and caused water damage and... Read more »

You really don't want to go there but your state insurance department would be the best place. You will have to post a bond, and you will be responsible for handling all claims and paying all claims.

Note also some companies doing business with yours may want proof of insurance--and...

Q: I want to install a wheelchair lift in my home in place of the stairs. Is this allowable or do I still need stairs?

I am going to purchase the lift from a dealer. Have it professionally installed and enclose it. This will be for a 2 story residential dwelling. I will get it inspected. The question really is do I still have a stair requirement?

What are the laws for selling aftward

Q: can a used car dealership sign an e contract on my behalf and without my knowledge and without my consent?

Shouldn’t I have been able to agree to my e-signatures by wet ink agreement or email correspondence prior to e- contract upload?

In addition, is it possible to e-sign a contract without an signature pad or access to the dealership’s computer?

Thank you

Seth Meyerson
Seth Meyerson answered on Sep 28, 2020

If this is true and you can convince a judge, then the contract would be unenforceable.

E signatures are good signatures so long as valid.

What is Possible is an excessively big space.

You are required to file a report within 30-60 days under most policies. If it's not over that file one. Second, ask DMV to have the guy's license & tags suspended. If he has a policy that should do it. Last but not least contact a member of the Md. Assn for Justice-they give free consults.
