Q: If the other side's insurance company didn't have enough coverage to fulfill my settlement can I sue them?
A: If they settled they owe you. If you mean your claim, no--take a look at your policy. You selected a low, medium, or high amount, with or without excess. That's what they did. They don't owe you an obligation to have large enough coverage for something. Unless certain things apply. You either have or should have a lawyer. Speak with them.
