Q: Can I apply for a German student visa in the United States or do I have to go to my home country to do it?
I will be graduating with my bachelor's in May and plan to study in a master's program in Germany. I am a citizen of Mexico and legal resident of the U.S. I intend to arrive in Germany in October 2017, but I will not be able to return to Mexico until August 2017. Considering that I need to apply for a visa at least 3 months in advance, I would like to know if I can apply for a German student visa in the U.S.
