Homosassa, FL asked in Employment Law for Florida

Q: I was suddenly terminated for no reason, and immediately replaced with a younger, personal friend of a tenured employee.

My employer suddenly terminated me without warning, and then further discussed my termination with another employee who was not management. I then learned that I was immediately replaced the very next day by a much younger personal friend of a tenured employee who is personal friends with the CEO. (I am 45 years old) Have they violated my privacy and descriminated against me? The co-worker contacted the manager and asked why I was terminated. The manager gave her a bogus reason and the co-worker texted me with the details. I still have the text messages.
