Q: My step dad (40 years old) kissed me in an argument and threw me slamming my head into a wall I'm 17 what can I charge?

He slammed his face in mine and kissed me I slapped him then he did it again and I slapped him again then he hit me and grabbed me slamming my head into the wall nearly knocking me out while my fiancé and my friend tried pulling him back to get off of me. Me and my fiancé got arrested. For battery? How come and what do I do I live I Sarasota Florida my name is [removed]

A: Don't use names on this or any public site. All they have to do is put in your name. Ask Justia to remove it.

You can file a complaint against him with the police. If you have medical documentation you have a battery claim, but if he doesn't have money no one will take it without getting paid by the hour.
