Q: I create visuals that maybe based on other works of art. How is my art protected?
I create visual art that may or may not use music that is copyright protected to create a whole new visual. Thus now my creation which is completely a "whole" new product or idea is made using a "piece" or "pieces" of other ideas. Does that still infringe the copyright law of those "pieces" and how is my new "whole" protected?
