Q: I got a traffic ticket at the age of 16 am now 21 is that ticket still valid or is it get thrown out
I was just wondering because I thought the age of 18 you record got sealed from when you were a juvenile I got pulled over for no drivers license no registration no insurance and I never went to court for it
A: Traffic offenses are not sealed. I can only assume that a clerical error occurred or the police did not file the ticket. Tickets do not disappear after a period of time. You can investigate to see if the ticket is still recorded (and pay it) or you wait and see if anything happens. As a warning, if the ticket is later attached to your record you could be facing significant fines (assuming that there is a ticket...). Then again, you may have just lucked out at 16.
