Q: Can I go after both insurance companies.

I was hit by driver who was ticketed for the accident and was driving a friend's car,friend accepted liability already,the driver also has auto insurance,can I go after both insurance companies or who is responsible for my major back and neck injury after we look at MRI and just started treatment.
