Q: What can be done about Veterinary Malpractice?

I brought my Dog to a Vet for a Uterus infection and the vet did not inform us that only a surgery would save her and just gave us meds to "help her"

then we find out for an Animal Hospital that only the Surgery would get rid of it only to learn the Vet was aware of this from the beginning but did not tell us then tells us he will do it for $500 on the spot or put her down since it has been so long since she has had the infection. NOW we need to pay a bill of $465! for the Euthanasia! If the vet had told us from the first day we brought her then we could have payed for the surgery.

A: Looks like you would have had to spend that anyway. So the difference is the 465? Not worth going to small claims for that as in a back and forth with the doctor on one side the doctor may well win.
