Q: I was cited for following too closely in a auto accident.
I was in right hand turn only lane and the tractor trailer was in left straight only lane and he decided to make a right turn and I stopped completely blew my horn over and over and the back half of his trailer came into my lane and hit my driver door and drugged me up a little and On to sidewalk. I was out at fault and the police report even said I hit him and hit him with the front left of my car! I also got a citation for following too closely! How was I following too closely if we were in two different lanes to begin with and I was at a complete stop when he got me?
A: Because the officer took his word. 1)plead not guilty 2)see if the intersection had cameras and if there are images 3) contact a member of the Ga. Trial Lawyers Assn --they give free consults.
