Q: my wife has property (not our primary residence) in her name only. upon her death, will i inherit?

we both have a simple will where if one of use dies, the spouse inherits all.

A: IF the property is in her name alone and IF the will provides that you inherit everything that was in her name alone, then YES you will inherit it.

There are probably better and less expensive ways to make that happen, so both you and your wife need to (perhaps together, perhaps separately....) talk with an estate planning attorney in your area to determine if changes are advisable.

They probably are, but every situation is unique, and you need to consult with someone who is not just 'giving seminars on how to avoid probate' or selling prepackaged 'trust kits' to really know what to do, Seek local help from a licensed attorney!
