Q: I got an impeading traffick ticket. What will happen if i pay it two weeks late
A: If you simply did nothing, did not appear in court, or submit your ticket with an explanation or payment, then the Court likely entered a default judgment against you and assessed fines. You are responsible to pay that fine and it may be more than it would have been had you paid the ticket on time. The court would have set a date to pay that fine, and if it isn't paid by that date, the court will assess late fees. If you continue to fail to pay, eventually, the Court will notify the Secretary of State, who will suspend or possibly revoke your license, depending upon your record at the time of the ticket.
