Q: I am try to be sued for personal injury by my neighbor for a dog bit which was inside my private fence, What is my rig

My neighbor was walking from the park with her dog and kid along aside my private fence. She claim that she got bit by my dog but my dog never left outside of my private fence. Her dog is a very aggressed and her dog was bark along my fence which my have spark my dog. Which this is not rightbecause she have got a lawyer and the lawyer send a letter requesting a copy my home owner insurance for personnel injury. . My dog had to be put up in my house for 10days by the animal control.The animal control did see any bit on my neighbor or where the dog came outside.not right

A: You should notify your homeowner's insurance as soon as possible. It is not up to you to determine whether it is a valid claim. Your insurance company will ask for your statement. Many times claims are denied by an insurance company if they believe their insured is not at fault.
