Charlotte, NC asked in Contracts and Business Law for North Carolina

Q: What is considered disclosing information?

I am writing a follow up question. I work as an independent contractor and the company I contract for says disclosing informagion to others is a breach of contract. They say that having children present is disclosing information. They claim that by having children (my 18 month old) in the vehicle during delivery that I am disclosing personal imformation to my child....the address of the customer. They also claim that children cannot be present in the staging area, although I cannot figure out what they mean by staging area. My only guess is in the grocery store where we shop for customers and during checkout although there is no control over that because other noncontracted customers are also present. So I guess I want to know if having my 18 month old in my vehicle when delivering to customers is considered disclosing information as well as if they can have control over who is in the staging area?

A: I have a story about a boy who never grew up. My question is: Is Tinker Bell a fairy or magical child? The question can't really be answered without reading the book. Similarly, it's unlikely that an attorney is going to be able to offer you any substantive advice about a contract without first reviewing the contract.
