A: DO NOT ATTEND a deposition Aug 9 without a lawyer!!! I can see from the word order on this question that English is not your native language. YOU WILL say something that will end your claim and you will get nothing. CONTINUE THE DEPOSITION -- in writing -- until you get a lawyer. You need A LOT of guidance and coaching to answer questions under oath. You need a lawyer next to you at the deposition to object to questions like "have you stopped beating your husband?" If the insurance adjuster had medical evidence of the work injury but denied the claim for lack of evidence, that denial needs to be turned over to the Audit Unit with a complaint of an unsubstantied denial. AND you need to get the medical reports to trial immediately to prove you were hurt as described. It's time for a lawyer; nearly all of us do not charge for the first consult, and there is no fee or payment of any kind until the claim closes...and then the judge orders the insurer to pay any attorney out of your award, so you don't even write the attorney a check, it's all paid by the insurer. GET A LAWYER RIGHT NOW.
