Bridgeport, CT asked in Traffic Tickets for New York

Q: I got a speeding ticket over a year ago. Have yet to hear back. Should I call them to get the status of the ticket?

Pled not guilty never received anything back in the mail. Could there be a warrant out for my arrest?

A: I would call the court to check status, if the officer never handed it in it won't show up, and you are fine. If it was handed in and the Court did not receive your plea, then they will suspend you.

A: Go down to your local DMV to check for outstanding summonses or suspensions. If you are stopped by a police officer while suspended, you will be arrested.
