Asked in Personal Injury for Nevada

Q: Can I sue the driver's company (or the driver) for head/neck injuries?

Last february, I was involved in an accident with a rented car. I had my signal light to turn and the driver of big company van hit me in the back. It resulted in head and neck injuries that restrained me from finishing my current semester at university. If I have a case, am I in right of suing the driver or the company? Also, I am Canadian and was on vacation in Nevada. Would I need a Canadian or American lawyer? Thank you.

A: I am sorry about your injuries. That is not fair, and you should be fully compensated. Tell me which major city your accident was NEAR, so I can tell you a good civil attorney to confer with. Was the other vehicle merely a citizen renting the van, or was it a business renting it?
