A: No you cannot be convicted without evidence. But your thinking there is no evidence, does not mean there is not evidence. This will come in as a 1st or 2nd degree crime and punishable in the range a decade in jail. If you have been charged, start consulting with the best lawyer you can afford. A: In general the evidence in these cases is merely the victims words that it occurred. In general these are reported to the police after any DNA Evidence would have been destroyed or long gone. Get a lawyer its your only defense and a good one.
