Vacaville, CA asked in Child Custody for California

Q: I live in Vacaville Ca. I need child custody advice. Who can I call pro bono?

Due to neglect from my ex wife. My children have had access to alcohol, causing ER visits. As well as access to a marijuana oil smoke pen of some kind. I am seriously considering trying to get 100 percent custody of my children with supervised or limited visits from their mom. My children are constantly concerned with their mothers actions and the effect it has on them.

A: If you have not spoken with a social worker about this issue, you will probably need to file a request for order to modify/change custody and visitation. There are many factors to consider, and more facts are required to provide a thorough analysis. It will be difficult to find a pro bono attorney, but you may try the following link: https://www.justia.com/lawyers/family-law/california/vacaville/legal-aid-and-pro-bono-services

You should consult with a local family law attorney that is familiar with the local court. This could be a case where supervised visits with the children is appropriate, but there is a lot more to consider. The age of the children is important, too.
