Q: My 16 year old daughter and boyfriend gets pulled over for window tint? cops searched vehicle!! I have a few questions

My daughters boyfriends car broke down and she picked him up from work, he works 3pm-11:30pm, and yes I know the law on curfew for her being 16. But Cookeville City pulled them over, Her boyfriend is 18, he was driving, but the reason the cop said he pulled them over was the windows looked to dark to him. Keep in mind it's a little after 11:30 pm, and being dark, you cant tell anything about how dark windows are, this was only his observation. He asked their ages and asked why they was out this late, the kids told the cop, the cop after running tags, gave them a hard time about the tags as my daughters dad lives in Overton county and car is registered to him. I live in Putnam, but she lives with me mostly. This does not matter. H asked if they had any thing in the car, and they said no, but he kept it up until it scared the kids into the cop doing the search, the car is my daughters and she told him that several times, the boyfriend didnt have right to concent. there is more
