Las Vegas, NV asked in Car Accidents for Nevada

Q: Car accident (non injury). need legal advice.

Two years ago I was in car accident and I was not insured and only had my permit. The other party is trying to put me at fault and in this case I will be because I did not have my license. We are still in the process of seeing who is at fault. She never showed up to any of the court cases and when her lawyers and insurance tried to contact her they would not answer. So with that they permanently dismissed the case on July 20th, 2017, but as of today she is trying to reopen the case. What do I do?

A: Fight the reopen. She has I assume filed a motion to reopen. May be worth your while paying a defense attorney to at least advise you.

By the way your being without a license doesn't make you at fault. You are only at fault if you cause the wreck. Makes sense for you to get a copy of the police report.
