Q: Husband isnt on my insurance but was in a minor accident. I didn't know he had my car and nor did I give him permission
Insurance sent me a letter saying he's not insured and asking if I had knowledge and or given him permission. What would be the outcome of me telling them I didn't know or give permission verse me telling them I did know and have him permission

If you say he had no permission they won't cover and it's a mess. If you say he had permission they may cover if he wasn't a regular user, unless he was specifically excluded.
Also if he wasn't excluded hopefully you listed him in the application as a driver living in the household.
