Q: Can a Trustee to a family trust ,which resigned and appoint another person,make an amendment to the trust thereafter ?

A: To me your question omits sufficient information which would permit a reasonable response. If the trust is revocable, and if the original trustor is still alive and capable of amending the trust, a trust can be amended.

A: Agreed, but a TRUSTEE cannot make changes. On the Grantor (Trustor) [or of course a court of competent jurisdiction!] can usually make changes in a revocable trust. We'd need to see the trust documents to be sure. If you have questions you should seek local counsel to review the documents and provide real advice!
