A: The short answer is 'yes'. If you sign the wrong things it will be bad.

As to whether or not you will be asked to sign something that is 'wrong' all bets are off. Who knows?

If you are concerned about this, ask to take whatever documents they want you to sign to an attorney. If they say 'sure' you should do that to have the documents reviewed. The consultation will NOT be horribly expensive and the attorney can provide you real guidance (unlike the generalities I'm providing here!) If the answer is 'no you have to sign them now' then don't sign anything and again, hire your own attorney if you feel you are being taken advantage of. Remember there are always at least two options. Take it or leave it -- and often there are third options as well!
