Q: Hi. Can I sure a car insurance company or the person who has the insurance to reimburse me for my deductible?

The accident was his fault. His insurance can only pay out 10k for my car that is a total loss. My insurance process the claim but I have a 1k deductible

A: The max hid insurance had to pay is his policy limits.

If your damages exceed his policy limit then you wood have a claim against him individually above that.

Not sure where your policy deductible is coming into play.

I suggest that you speak with a personal injury attorney in your area to get some advice on how to proceed. Most PI attorneys also handle property damage portions along with an injury case. Also most will not handle a property damage case only but maybe you can get some specific advice.
