Q: Should and am i aloud to wait close to the 90 days to show the bank my bonafidlease if my landlords property is foreclos
I am a tent who resides in a town house in nj and i have a lease active about a month before the bank forclosed on my landlord! I was just notified that the action was finalized. I was obviously not aware until now about landlords situation. I called the bank as told to verify i was a tenant. Now they gave me 90 days to show them documentation. I have no ties to the my old landord just met prior to renting the property and was never told about the situation. Should and or can i wait if i know i had a lease prior to the finalization of the forclosure to now prove my bonafide lease? Thank you
