Q: Which address will the traffic violation ticket be mailed? Plate registration address or the driver license address?
I was pulled over by a police officer at 10/14/2017. He said I will received the ticket by mail. But 2 weeks passed I still did not receive. I do not know which address will the ticket be mailed. He did not check my driver license but record my plate number. Because I did not change my driver license address which is different with now I am living. What should I do if I passed the response date?
A: You should immediately call the court to find out what you got the ticket for and when your court date is.If you missed your court or pay by date the judge may have issued a warrant thus the reason you call immediately.
