Q: I gave my dog to a new home less than a week ago and now i want him back. She wont respond to my texts asking for him

There was no bill of sale and i still have his shot records and his microchip goes to my name and address. is there anyway i can get him back?

A: You no longer own the dog so you cannot sue for replevin. Replevin is only for cases in which someone has property that you own. When you gave your dog away you lost ownership.
