Q: I'm on housing I've been here a year. I have been staying in an apartment that has been infested with roach

I have notified housing and my landlord which nothing has been resolved. I stopped paying rent and paid 5600 deposit well in Sept. 2017 was served with an eviction I was forced to sign to sign a stipulation to get my deposit back and to be out by Oct.15 and had court on the 19th I didn't move and we went to court where I had no legal help while he had a high price lawyer. I tried to state my problems and it was put over and I was to be notified 24 hours before the next court date which was Oct.26th but I didn't get proper notice and missed it due to I didn't get the letter till the day after so I lost and he's won entrance to my apartment. I need help badly. I'm disabled and low income with a special needs child. They have failed almost all their inspections. I also contacted vector twice and had the city inspectors inspect. I've been harassed and mnd my privacy violated by entering my home several times with out notice also my personal business talked to and about to several tenants.

A: have you tried to contact legal aid.

it would appear at first blush that you need a lawyer to make a motion to set aside the court ruling asap.

maybe legal aid can provide one.
