Q: Wife and paternity

My significant other and I have ben together almost 6 years and married 7 months. We have a little 2 year old girl who was born before we were married. I recently done a Paternity test and found out she isnt mine. I just wanna know what Im dealing with. I wanna father that little girl but if me and the wife split up can she come at me for child support or would i be able to fight it if i had to.If i decided to leave now would i be able to get off birth certificate and not be hit for child support.

A: You need to decide if you are in or out of the child's life now. You cannot change your mind later. If you are on the birth certificate and you have been raising the child since birth then if you split up you will be responsible for child support and also entitled to share time with the child.
