Q: Restraining order
Hello Theres currently a restraining order set in put on my ex boyfriend we have a child in common. He has gotten arrested for violating it I do not want to press charges he texted me one day just to ask for his daughter and that he was in depression because he hasn’t seen her for 7 months and came to my school and my school is aware of the past situation and the restraining order and they called police he’s currently arrested what Can I do? I don’t think it’s fair, he’s being charged with aggravated staking Can I go to his first appearance & try to speak on his behalf we never had contact just that one day he reached out to my school I live in the state of FL. We never had any issues with him hitting me or any of that matter the restraining order was set due to a past incident where he came to my home yelling out of control. What will happen if I go to his first appearance?
